Stelatria cream

This will be a short post because I don't like this product. It's a baby cream from Mustela and I think it shouldn't be prescribed to grown people! My doctor prescribed it after previous three products haven't worked. I wrote a post about them so go and check it out (http://poko07.blogspot.hr/2015/01/seborrheic-dermatitis-and-products-ive.html ).
This condition can really test your patience from time to time just because you try loads of products and they work and you're so happy and then you're back at the beginning! Now I'm trying some natural stuff and I hope I'll see some changes.

BABY OIL!

A lady once told me that baby products on a skin of a grown person is not going to work as well as on babies skin. Well, baby oil showed her wrong. Just recently I started using baby oil and I can't be more satisfied. I put it on straight after I had a shower, while my skin is still wet. I massage it in and then I dry myself.
I have Keratosis pilaris on my arms and it's been a lot better since I started using the oil. Overall my skin has been a lot smoother and I would definitely recommend you try it.
This oil has many uses, you can put it in your hair preventing damage, you can also massage it into your feet, putting on socks and leaving it over night for dry skin on your feet, also you can use it as a shaving oil or aftershave.
If you have another great tip for how to use baby oil please write it down in the comments!

Shampoo for sensitive scalpe

Recently my scalp got very bad and my doctor gave me Cystiphane Biorga. I've been using it for some time now and my scalp only got a bit better.  I expected more from this shampoo because last time my scalp was this bad I used shampoo called Squaphane P, which is amazing  and it should be the same as Cystiphane. Unfortunately it's not the same and I will have to find a new ''miracle'' shampoo! Please don't be turned off by my experience, just because it didn't work for me it doesn't mean that it won't work for you!

Great shampoo for sensitive scalp

I used to spend loads of money on shampoos until I discovered Yves Rocher and their Hamamelis Soft Shampoo. It took a while for my scalp to get used to but after that it was amaizing. Itchines was all gone and my Sebhorrheic Dermatits almost completely disappeared. I tried Botanical Hair Care Purifying Shampoo which is great if you don't have sensitive sculp but you do have very oily hair. My scalp started itching again so I'm back on the hamamaelis shampoo. It is a fraction of the price of those prescription shampoos so I think it's worth a try.

Somerset shaving oil

I have to admit that I had no idea that shaving oils exist and that are actually really good. So when I heard about it I immediately googled it and found a review on the Somerset shaving oil and I thought why not. So I bought it and I can't say my mind was blown because I used it in the winter time. This oil contains peppermint which leaves you with a cooling sensation and I can tell you that it's not comfortable stepping out from the warm shower in to the cold bathroom.
Product comes in a small bottle but it lasts for a long time because you only use couple of drops. It is softening the hair and therefore making it easier to shave. The only downside is that it clogs up your raiser.
Anyway I will wait until summer to give my final judgment. If you have any other suggestion please tell me :D

Alverde tinted moisturizer

Lately I wanted to try a tinted moisturizer so I got one from Alverde. At first I was quite pleased with it. My skin was so smooth and perfect, it even sorted my Seborrheic Dermatitis. But then over night things got so worse like never before and my skin still isn't like it was before. I am not saying that the product itself is bad but it's not working for Seborrheic Dermatitis.  I am still in a hunt for a good moisturizer so if you have some recommendations be free to leave it in the comments below :)

Recipie #2 Homemade granola breakfast

Lately I have started eating more healthy. I'm eating more fruit, vegetable, graines and seeds. Since my breakfasts weren't really that healthy and would consist mainl of bakery produce I decided that this was the first thing I will start my change with. So I made my homemade granola and got so excited because posibilities are endless. You can add plain milk, almond, oat,soy or rice milk, greek yoghurt, any fruit like bannaas, rasperries or eat it on its own.

Here is the recipie:

300g of oat meal
3 tbsp of honey (or any other sweetener)
pinch of salt
cup of any dried fruit
cup of any seeds

Your measurments don't have to be the same as mine! Just take your container and fill it with oats leaving enaugh room for seeds and dried fruit and according to that modify sweetner.

Preheat your oven to 180°C. Mix oats, dried fruit, honey and salt and spread it on a baking sheet in a thin layer. Bake for 10 minutes, then stir and continue baking for 5 minutes, then add seeds and stir once more. Return to oven for 5- 10 minutes until granola is lightly golden, then take it out and leave it to cool. Once its cold you can transfer it to your container. And that is it!

Hope you'll try it :)

Recipie #1 Eggs and avocado

This is a healthy breakfast idea. It is amaizing for people with psoriasis because it encludes avocado and tamarik both having amazing effect on the skin.

You will need:

2 slices of bread  or more if you want; it would be great if bread is on the healthier side
half of avocado
2 eggs
1 tsp of tamarik
butter
salt & pepper

Toast the bread. Mix eggs, tamarik, salt, pepper and make scrambled eggs. Cut the avocado into smaller chunks.
While the bread is still warm spread a bit of butter then put a layer of avocado and on top some eggs.
And that's it, please write in the commets if you have some quick healthy breakfast recepies :)

Nutrition and psoriasis

There are many factors that can help you fight back psoriasis and food is one of them. I did my share of reasearching and found out that many things  I was eating daily weren't really good for me. So I started removing one by one from my diet and replacing it with other, more ''acceptable'' food. That encluded eggs, bread, milk, jucies, some fruits, the list goes on and on. I thought after couple of monthes it's going to get better, but nothing changed it even got worse. So I decided that it's not working and I started eating normally all the food I have been eating before.
Then I came across a tv show called The Food Hospital. They are trying to cure disease only with food and apparently are really good at it. So in one episoed they were tackling psorisis-( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cmz8gmnmdY0 ) and after watching it I started incorporating all those things in my diet. I personally found it really hard because I wasn't cooking for myself everyday and many of the ingriedents are quite expensive for a uni student like me. So I decided that I was going to eat as much as I can and see how it goes from there. I am still trying to completely change my diet and try some new ingredients but it's taking time.
I have to point out that I am not a nutritionist!
Hopefully this was useful, please leave me a comment if you know something more :).

Seborrheic Dermatitis and products I've used

I've had Seborreha for a very long time on my head but couple of years ago it started showing on my face. It got  to the point where almost half of my face was covered. First product I used was URIAGE D.S. EMULSION. At first it wasn't  better in fact it started spreading a lot faster. But then all of the sudden it got extremly better. At that point I had it only on the left side of my face close to the nose. One morning it was like a had a brand new skin but the very next it started to get worse. Then it started spreading on the other parts of my face like my forehead, around my brows and eventualy on the right side of my face. Then my doctor gave me URIAGE Cu-Zn+ because she thaught that Zinc would help. With seborreah you get some sort of funghi because you're skin is very sensitive while being flaky. Also I stared using Zinc supplements. At that point my skin started getting better and better to a point where it wasn't that obvious but it was still a bit red. Since all that Zinc was helping my doctor gave me URIAGE Soin peri-oral.  That's a product for infants with irritations around their mouth. It has a bit more Zinc in it which my skin needed. It helped a lot more then the previous one, my forhead is now completly cleared as well as most of my right side of the face. The problem I am facing right now is that my skin is very dry so I'm using hydriating creams and masks. The one that I can recommed is a LUSH one called Oatfix. It's both a mask and a peeling which was something I was dreading for a long time but until I went to Lush and talked to a lady who works there. She told me that in order for the product to go into the skin properly you first need to remove the flakes or a layer of dead skin.
I hope this was helpful, I'm  not a professional dermatologist I am just a girl fighting this issue.
There will be posts about psoriasis and nutrition coming up :)

New year, new resolutions

It's a new year, so Happy New Year to all of you who are reading this. Just like most of the people I made some new years resolutions and one of them is starting a blog. The reason for this is because I'm missing a passion in my life and at this moment this is the only thing that makes me excited to do. Also I wanted to put in one place all craftig ideas, recepies, hair styles and many other stuff I come across or that come to my mind.

One thing I have been very interested in is architecture and intrior design so this will probably be the most frequent topic.

Although I'm a young girl I have just recently started showing interest in beauty. The reason for this is because I have psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis which was pretty bad almost until recently. Now that I have finally found a way how to deal with it and the mirror is no longer an enemy I can start using make-up which makes me really happy.

I should probably start writing some actual blog posts with
propper topics but I thought before I start that this blog needs some sort of introduction and me presenting to you all.

I hope there will be some of you reading this blog and enjoying the posts :)

First (amazing) post

Beacause it's the first it should be amazing but I'm lacking first amazing post ideas...
Hopefully other posts will be better than this one, but after all this is the first :)
